Portolani was created by Margherita Abbozzo and commissioned by Maritele,
the Italian Navy's Communication Centre in La Spezia.
The site was inaugurated on December 4th, 2002 and remained on line until December 2003.
It was then transferred to margheritaabbozzo.com.
The artist would like to thank CDR Silvano Benedetti and curator Giandomenico Semeraro.
Their vision and love of contemporary art were instrumental in bringing this work to light.
